October 16. The Day Before 1017.

Gucci Mane released Against All Odds on October 16, 2026, via 1017 Global Music and Atlantic Records. He announced it on Instagram a few days before the drop. No rollout. No press campaign. No countdown. The album landed the day before October 17. His label is called 1017 Records. That date, in numerical form, is his entire brand. This is his 18th studio album. As of October 2026, Gucci Mane holds the record for the largest discography by any hip hop artist in history. The last track on Against All Odds is called “1017.”

Who Gucci Mane Is

Radric Delantic Davis was born October 12, 1980, in Bessemer, Alabama, and raised in East Atlanta, Zone 6. In the mid-2000s, he and OJ Da Juiceman built the sonic blueprint that became trap music. Not influenced by trap. The blueprint. Without Gucci Mane’s early recordings, Young Thug does not exist as we know him. Future does not exist. Migos does not exist. The entire Atlanta sound that defined the 2010s runs through him. He founded 1017 Records and launched the careers of Waka Flocka Flame, Migos, Young Thug, Key Glock, and Pooh Shiesty. In 2014, he received a federal sentence for firearms possession and served until May 2016. He came out and released Everybody Looking six weeks after leaving federal prison. That album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200.

Against All Odds

Against All Odds. 17 tracks. 52 minutes. October 16, 2026. 1017 Global Music / Atlantic Records. Full tracklist: 1. Back Against the Wall. 2. Yall Make Me Sick. 3. Fucc Errybody. 4. Last Night in ATL ft. Summer Walker. 5. STFU. 6. She’s So Fine. 7. Still Dat Nigga. 8. She on GO. 9. Rich Ass Nigga. 10. Get the F Out My Face. 11. Crazy Bih. 12. Priorities ft. Ice Davis. 13. Lambo Pass By ft. OJ Da Juiceman. 14. Drunk. 15. All I Have. 16. CRASH DUMMY. 17. 1017. The opener sets the album’s frame directly: “Built for this life, I don’t fold under pressure / And every setback turned into something better.” Ice Davis on “Priorities” is Gucci’s own son. OJ Da Juiceman on “Lambo Pass By” connects the album to the 2007 era where they built the sound everyone else now lives off.

Eighteen Albums and Still Counting

He released an album in 2023. An album in 2025. Now another in 2026. Before that, multiple projects in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The argument against Gucci Mane has always been volume over quality. The counter-argument has always been that both are true, and that the volume itself is the art. No artist with his level of mainstream recognition releases this consistently. Against All Odds is not a comeback album. It is album number 18 from someone who never stopped.

HIPHOPADELLIC Perspective

The last track on this album is called “1017.” He named it after his own label. He dropped the album the day before October 17. He put his son Ice Davis on track 12 and OJ Da Juiceman, one of the men who helped him build the sound, on track 13. At 45 years old, after federal prison, after every version of the industry trying to write him off, after founding a label that launched half the artists you listen to today, Gucci Mane released his 18th album. The title says Against All Odds. He named it correctly.

One Love. One Family. One Culture.
